The old Gaston County textile mills are some of the most photogenic structures I get to fly. Long brick buildings, sawtooth roofs, water towers that read beautifully from altitude, especially in low morning light. Several are being converted and redeveloped now, and that kind of project is tailor-made for aerial documentation: before, during, and after, from matching angles.
Beyond the mills, Gastonia gives me a steady mix of industrial and warehouse sites along I-85, residential listings with actual yards, and open land that developers want mapped before they commit. A drone answers questions fast out here. How big, how flat, what's adjacent, where the access is. I shoot it, edit it, and send back files that answer those questions clearly.
Gastonia is my main stop west of Charlotte, and I cover the rest of Gaston County from the same direction, including Belmont, Mount Holly, and Cramerton. If it's west of the Catawba, I'm probably driving past it already.

Gastonia drone services FAQ
Do you serve all of Gastonia and Gaston County?
Yes. I run the I-85 corridor west of Charlotte regularly, and Gastonia is the anchor of that coverage. If your site is anywhere in the county, odds are good I already know the drive.
Are you licensed and insured to fly in Gastonia?
Yes. I'm an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot and fully insured, and I follow whatever airspace rules apply to your specific location.
What drone services can I book for a property in Gastonia?
Industrial and commercial site documentation, real estate aerials, construction progress, mapping and surveys, marketing media, and event coverage.
What will I receive and how fast?
Edited photos and video, not raw files. Because I do my own editing, most Gastonia projects turn around in days, not weeks.
How do I get a quote for a Gastonia project?
Email shane@sqoskyworks.com or call (704) 783-6767 with the location and what you're trying to capture. I'll suggest an approach and give you pricing.
